So our New Year’s Eve tremors have caused talk even in California, as this headline from the Los Angeles Times attests. It was by far the strongest of the 11 earthquakes that rocked the normally placid Mahoning Valley in 2011.
It’s worth noting that these quakes have coincided a little too closely with the initiation of fracking operations at a new injection well that’s just a few miles from my house. Food for thought, etc.
